Mujib’s face

SUKUMAR BARUA

When seven and half core people unite together
Then one Mujib Sheikh is born
Bangla’s ownership does not belong to the Bangalee
They were slaves for thousands of years.

The foreign monsters rose up on their shoulders
They were humiliated and tortured
When they were retreating to the edge of no return
Then Mujib came to rescue the country

Slavery is pain; pleasure is only in freedom
Mujib’s face is in the tapestry of Bangla.
