Shuva, I took a star from the midnight sky as loan
I’ve to return it tomorrow morning
I’ll return it alone
I’ll turn the sun (suddenly)
Into the shape of the star (with the wink of the eye)
You’ll see the hands of the clock
stopped just at twelve o’clock
The darkness will devour the sun
Suddenly the night will befall in broad daylight
Then keep that star into your closed fist
So that nobody can see it
Clenching all the sides
Let the star fly away at midnight
In the deserted path
In the dark ally of the sky
In the darkness.
